Southeast Massachusetts encompasses a large area south of Boston that borders the state of Rhode Island to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Found in Plymouth, the National Monument to the Forefathers is 81 ft (25 m) tall and has proudly welcomed seafarers since 1889.
