The Myles Standish Monument State Reservation is home to the 116 foot high granite tower that has a 14-foot statue of Myles Standish at the top. Standish was the military leader of Plymouth colony, and this monument commemorates him and the era in which he lived. Picninc facilities are provided at the base of the monument.
